Manassas Theology on Tap – Karen Cruess

Our current life experience, whether we realize it or not, is the fruit of the story we are telling ourselves. All day long we think, feel and react in response to the narrative we have created about ourselves, our life and our future, as a result of our life experiences. If we want to see real transformation in any area of our lives, we must receive the truth of who we are, our deepest identity in Christ, through new encounters with the perfect love of God that can heal even the deepest wounds and help us write a new, redeemed story that fulfills God's original plan and purpose for our lives.

BIO: Karen Cruess is a licensed counselor and gifted speaker with a passion for helping individuals experience the fullness of God's plan for their lives. Karen has been married to her husband Scott for 15 years and is the mother to 7 beautiful children. She received her Master's in counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville and has been practicing counseling for 18 years, working with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. She is also the host of the Heal, Equip, & Release Podcast where she passionately shares inspiration and practical tips to help women experience healing and restoration, enabling them to fulfill the mission God has placed on their lives. Karen developed her course, Rewriting Your Story with God, in response to the growing need for healing resources in our world today. She firmly believes that as people seek healing through prayer, Christian meditation, intimacy with God, and faith-filled community, the natural consequence is deeper joy, peace, and the fruit of transformation.

Manassas TOT, cosponsored by the Diocese of Arlington Young Adult Ministry and All Saints Young Adults, is held on the second Monday of each month at the Old Towne Sports Pub, located at 8971 Center St. Manassas, VA 20110.

All young adults (ages 19-35) single and married of all faith backgrounds are invited.
Food and drinks are served starting at 6:30 p.m., then the talk begins at 7:30 p.m. & ends with Q&A.
