April 6 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm

Scores of scientific studies show that regular churchgoers tend to not only have better mental health and life outcomes, but also better physical health. What is it about prayer and worship that so improve health, happiness, and longevity? This presentation lays out the amazing findings.

Compared with people who only sometimes, rarely, or never go to church, weekly churchgoers tend to have greater emotional well-being. Churchgoers are less likely to be depressed, have anxiety, or commit suicide. They are less prone to alcohol and drug abuse, or to unethical or criminal behavior. They are more apt to have higher educational attainment and higher lifetime earnings. Churchgoing youth, as a whole, are more well-adjusted and get better grades. These conclusions are based on literally thousands of surveys and studies.
