Corpus Christi Mass and Procession

Bring Jesus, the Source of our peace and unity, into the streets which so recently have seen violence.
Join Bishop Burbidge this Sunday for the Feast of Corpus Christi Mass and Procession at St. Mary's in Old Town Alexandria.
The Mass, which starts at 5 p.m., is being offered just four days after the shooting in Alexandria, with special prayers for peace and unity within
our communities. Bishop Burbidge will be the principal celebrant and homilist.
Immediately following
the Mass (6 PM), Bishop Burbidge will lead a 7-block procession with the
Blessed Sacrament from the St. Mary’s Church to St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1001 South
Royal Street.
After the procession all are welcome to attend an ice cream social in the new
courtyard at the Fr. Rankin House (314 Duke Street).
