Diocese of Arlington Catholic Schools

Our students, through their transformational education, spiritual and social experiences with clergy, educators, parents and peers, emerge with a superior academic foundation, a dynamic growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a sincere desire to affect the world around them by leading a charitable, Christ–centered life.

All Saints 2016 648

In everything that is done there is an emphasis on respect and responsibility, integrity and "doing the right thing." And all of it starts with the emphasis in prayer and faith. Everything starts with prayers at All Saints and their attendance at Mass weekly further reinforces faith as the key component of the school's mission.

Frequently Asked Questions About Catholic Schools

Expand / Collapse All

Do I or my child have to be Catholic in order to attend a Catholic school?

Catholic Schools warmly welcome students regardless of parish or religious faith. Our schools are communities rich with religious backgrounds and practices. Students study the Scriptures and the Tradition of the Catholic faith, participate in Catholic liturgies and, if Catholic, are prepared to receive the Sacraments. Non‐Catholic students are expected to participate in liturgies, religious functions, and religion classes that are part of the academic curriculum. While non‐Catholic students are expected to be knowledgeable about Catholic teachings and practices, they are not expected to give their assent to the Faith.

Are the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Arlington accredited?

The Virginia Catholic Education Association accredits each school and every teacher meets the VCEA or Commonwealth of Virginia certification requirements.
