Bishop Burbidge blesses new home for people with disabilities

Bishop Burbidge of Arlington will bless the home before the ribbon cutting

ARLINGTON, Va.  – Friday, May 19 at 4p.m., in Annandale, the Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of Arlington will bless a new house for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The home, named Our Lady of Light, is the newest home provided by Marian Homes, Inc., a non-profit organization that owns and maintains homes for people with intellectual disabilities.

The ceremony will consist of a drill by the color guard, the blessing, and a ribbon cutting. 
Joining Bishop Burbidge will be Tom Fleetwood, Director of Fairfax Department of Housing and Community Development, as well as John Cook, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisor, Braddock District.
