VIRGINIA CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

Stop a multi-million dollar program to push long-acting reversible contraceptives on low-income women and teens

May 9, 2018

The General Assembly is haggling over a state budget that includes $6 million --and up to $12 million -- for a pilot program to push long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) on low-income women and teenage girls -- without parental involvement. Much of this money would flow to the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood, a major supplier of LARCs and the largest abortion provider in the country.

Contact your senator and delegate now to tell them to remove this harmful program from the budget. At the very least we should ensure these millions of taxpayer dollars don't flow to the abortion industry. It is not too late to affect this process!
