ARLINGTON, Va.  – Sunday, January 13, Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge will celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. and this nation’s fight for civil rights, during a Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington.

During his podcast, Walk Humbly, Bishop Burbidge said this about Dr. King: “He fought that all persons, without exception, especially those subject to bigotry and prejudice throughout their history and lives, must be afforded the same dignity as every human person. We pray for the eradication of prejudice and bigotry that, sadly, still exists. It is a reality, not only in history, but even in society today.”
