Jubilee Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation

Join parishioners from many Diocesan parishes in the spirit of a pilgrimage as we walk along the grounds of Holy Cross Abbey on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 12-3pm (901 Cool Spring Ln, Berryville, VA 22611). Meet at the pavilion just beyond the driveway entrance.

Experience the Pilgrimage:

• Hear from Cistercian monks about their eco-friendly land stewardship
• Learn about the Cool Spring Natural Cemetery that they maintain
• Reflect on God’s creation during a mindful 1 mile walk to the chapel
• Join the monks for their 2 p.m. prayer in the chapel
• Visit with other pilgrims on the 1 mile walk back to the pavilion
• Feel free to stay after to visit the gift shop and wander back to the shelter where our cars will be parked
