Gather at the Table: Multicultural Cooking for Liturgical Living
An invitation to share
The Diocese of Arlington invites you to practice liturgical living during the Three year Golden Jubilee celebration and beyond with the upcoming international cookbook, “Gather at the Table: Multicultural Cooking for Liturgical Living."
Do you make the best lumpia for Simbang Gabi? Are your grandchildren begging you for your soda bread recipe served on Saint Patrick's Day? Are your neighbors raving about the Pho you served at your annual TET gathering? Then this cookbook is for you! Our diocese is home to many culturally diverse families, each with their own traditions, holidays, and recipes, and we want to include YOUR recipes from these special occasions!
Highlighting the cultures of our Diocese
Our goal is to highlight all the cultures found within the Diocese of Arlington, in a cookbook that can be cherished by each and every family throughout the year. A committee with representatives from various cultural families will work together to pick the best of the best.
How to submit your recipes
Recipes will be categorized depending on what liturgical season, feast day, or holiday they celebrate. Don't worry… if your favorite dish isn't linked to any particular holiday, we need recipes for “Ordinary Time” too!
Submit your recipe by completing the form below.
