FINDING JESUS ON RETREAT
“Come aside and rest awhile,” was Our Lord’s most welcome invitation to His disciples after they returned from their missionary labors. “So Jesus and the Apostles went off in the boat by themselves to a deserted place.” (Mark 6:30—32)
At San Damiano, the Arlington Diocese’s Retreat Center, we offer a quiet place for people to read and think and pray in silence and solitude at the feet of our Eucharistic Lord in our chapel–and while wandering about our green woods and rolling hills in the Shenandoah Valley close by the Blue Ridge Mountains.
