Why I work in Youth Ministry
During my college years, I became deeply involved in campus ministry, which played a pivotal role in rekindling my faith. The guidance and support I received from the ministry had a lasting impact on my life. That experience inspired me to give back—to help provide for others the same foundation of faith, community, and growth that meant so much to me.
About Me
I was born in South Jersey but spent most of my childhood in Southern West Virginia, where I attended a small Catholic school. My family moved to Fredericksburg while I was in high school, and I later attended George Mason University, where I was active in their Catholic Campus Ministry and earned a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Events Management.
Before joining the Diocese staff, I worked for a nonprofit that organized community-wide events in the Northern Virginia area. I have a deep love for Ireland—my mom was born and raised there, and I’ve been fortunate to visit family often and even live there for a few months after college. Travel is a big part of my life, and my time in Ireland opened the door for me to explore other countries as well, including Poland, Spain, and Italy.
