St. Therese is a magnificent manifestation of "the Feminine Genius" and a "Wise Woman" in the fullest sense of the words.  Pope St. Pius X called her "the Greatest Saint of Modern Times" before Pope St. John Paul the Great declared her a Universal Doctor of the Church.

St. Therese's spiritual doctrine is easily understood and can be practically applied in our very occupied, day-to-day lives.  Her counsel can ably assist us in enduring and embracing difficulties in prayer, overcoming scruples, and patiently putting up with people who challenge us.
