Sold OutThe women of the Diocese are invited to attend the 2025 Women's Silent Retreat led by Dr. Anthony Lilles, with the Rev. Thomas Ferguson providing sacramental and spiritual assistance.
Dr. Anthony Lilles is a Carmelite scholar who serves as Chief Academic Officer of the Avila Insitute for Spiritual formation. He is an expert in Spiritual Theology, Spiritual Direction & various classics of Catholic spirituality and specializes in the spiritual doctrine of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity and the Carmelite Doctors of the Church: Sts. Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross & Therese of Lisieux.
Fr. Thomas Ferguson was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Arlington in 1994. He is a former Vicar General for the Diocese and now serves as pastor at Good Shepherd Church in Alexandria and a judge in the Diocesan Tribunal.
