How is God calling you to promote vocations?
"To be pilgrims of hope and builders of peace, then, means to base our lives on the rock of Christ’s resurrection, knowing that every effort made in the vocation that we have embraced and seek to live out, will never be in vain...Let us awaken from sleep, let us leave indifference behind, let us open the doors of the prison in which we so often enclose ourselves, so that each of us can discover his or her proper vocation in the Church and in the world, and become a pilgrim of hope and a builder of peace!"
(Pope Francis, Message for World Day of Prayer for Vocations 2024)
Our office provides resources for educators, parents and parishes to help you help us (and ultimately help God) get young people asking the right questions and on the path of exploring God's plans for them.
How can you promote vocations?
For Educators
You can encourage vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and other Church leadership without sacrificing time needed to complete your curriculum.
For Parents
Encourage your children to ask themselves, and God, the questions that really matter so they can discover His plan for their lives.
For Parishes
Parish communities support vocations in a number of ways. How can you be part of vocations ministry in your parish?

The Office of Vocations has resources to help you promote, support, pray for and discern vocations.
