Also offered: Pre-natal care assistance, financial assistance, and referrals to parish ministries, Catholic Charities and other organizations.
The Bishop’s Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities encourages the adoption of a parish-based ministry for pregnant women and their children.
The national Gabriel Project outreach began when a priest placed a sign in front of a Catholic Church offering parish assistance to any pregnant woman in need. The Arlington diocesan Gabriel Project offers a confidential pregnancy helpline, Gabriel “Angel” companions for follow-up support in your area, and so much more for “nothing is impossible for God.” ~ Luke 1:30

Walking with Moms
Initiative of the USCCB
Gabriel Project has been walking with moms in need in the Diocese of Arlington since Mother’s Day 2002. This pregnancy assistance outreach is a parish-based model of the USCCB’s initiative that was launched nationally on March 25, 2020.
