Youth Ministry program includes: Our youth ministry program is particularly lively and active. St. Francis de Sales youth ministry promotes spiritual and social growth by meeting in Christian fellowship and providing opportunities for the celebration of Sacraments, spiritual sharing, service projects, and social activities. We aim to discover how to accept God's love and learn to love him back as we grow in faith and devotion. We look for Jesus in the faces of others. We are passionate about serving others and we strive to do so joyfully and regularly.    We are active in all aspects of our church and community. We help teach religious ed., lector, perform in a band, usher, and have a Students for Life group. We even compete in a One-Act Play festival through the diocese. Every month we cook and serve dinner for a local homeless shelter. We have weekly Bible studies, fall and spring retreats, lock-ins, a week-long mission trip every summer, attend Mount2000, and have weekly youth night gatherings.

Why I work in Youth Ministry: I was deeply impacted by youth ministry programs when I was in middle school and high school, ultimately leading to an intimate relationship with Christ. I understand the huge role that youth leaders can have in young people's lives, especially regarding faith, and I want to help teens develop a relationship with Jesus just like someone helped me when I was teen. I hope to open teens' eyes to their call to sainthood and walk with them on their journeys to heaven.
