On Sunday, September 3, 2017, Bishop Burbidge announced the establishment of two new Missions in the Diocese: Our Lady of La Vang and Saint Gabriel. The Our Lady of La Vang Mission will serve the Vietnamese-speaking Catholic community in Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties while the Saint Gabriel Mission will serve the growing Catholic population of the City of Manassas Park, Virginia.
