Directors of Youth Ministry and Religious Education-a fun opportunity for your families or an opportunity for you to bring your own group or class for the day!

* For those camping...Families will be given a tent campsite in a cluster of approximately 10 campsites. Each cluster has a fire ring, picnic shelter and access to drinking water, bathrooms and showers. No electricity at sites. For family camping areas, there are raised platforms for a tent. Camp Snyder reports that these platforms are roughly 12 x 16 so beware of this when considering tent size.

Important Notes (additional items will be added April 1):

  • Please download and complete youth permission forms here:
    English | Spanish
  • Please download and complete adult volunteer waiver here:
    English | Spanish
  • No pets. No alcohol. No firearms. No drones. No tobacco products.
  • The property where the campout will be held has a lake and other water on the property. It is very important that youth are always under the watchful eye of their parent/guardian or unit leader.
  • The weekend will happen rain or shine though activities may need to be modified or eliminated. Refunds will only be granted if we need to cancel the event for some unforeseen reason.
  • If you would like to camp near another registrant, please include that request at the time of registration.
  • This is NOT cabin camping. Participants must bring all gear appropriate for tent camping (including their own tents). Because it is the great outdoors-you can expect to see the creatures of the great outdoors.
  • For family camping areas, there are raised platforms for a tent. Camp Snyder reports that these platforms are roughly 12 x 16 so beware of this when considering tent size.
  • No camping registrations on the day of the event.
  • Families and Units must provide for all meals with the exception of dinner on Saturday night. Saturday's casual dinner will be provided. Anyone with food allergies should plan accordingly to provide their own dinner on Saturday evening as well just in case what is offered does not meet their needs.
  • Dress Code for Catholic Campout and Mass:
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. Early May can be chilly or blistering hot, so please ensure that youth and adults are properly dressed for the activities they will be engaged in during the day.
All attendees are expected to dress modestly. Full clothing should be worn at all times when out in public-wearing towels and pajamas is unacceptable. Shirts must be worn at all times and those shirts should have sleeves (no cutoffs). Shorts must not be shorter than 3 inches above the knees. Among the items that are not allowed at any time at the Campout: tank tops, tight-fitting clothing, yoga pants, leggings, bike shorts, tight shirts, sleeveless tees, sport bras, short shorts, bare midriffs, see-through clothing, pants or shorts with lettering on the seat, any clothing that conveys inappropriate or obscene messages through writing and/or pictures. Sleepwear should consist of gym shorts and a T-shirt.
