His grace transforms us from within, ordering every aspect of our lives towards union with Him, and this is the essence of the virtuous life. This young adult retreat will be an opportunity to spend a weekend contemplating the “well-ordered life in Christ,” using the wisdom and insight of St. Thomas Aquinas, and special consideration given to the virtues of Fortitude and Temperance.

A native of northern Virginia and ordained a priest in 2017, Fr. Steven Oetjen served as parochial vicar of St. James in Falls Church for four years before being assigned to full-time canon law studies in 2021. He completed the licentiate in canon law in July 2023 and now works in the diocesan tribunal, while also pursuing doctoral studies in canon law. He resides at St. Agnes Parish in Arlington.
