History/Resume
Active in Youth Ministry since: 2016
In current position since: 2020
Why I work in Youth Ministry: Jesus has helped me through so much and has answered so many questions for me, I want to help do the same for the teens that I meet and talk to. There are so many questions they have but don’t know how Jesus can answer them or even fit into their own lives, if I can help bridge that gap that’d be awesome.
About Me: I grew up in the Arlington Diocese, was homeschooled through high school and attended Franciscan University to get a B.S. degree. In 2020 I graduated with my masters in theology from the Augustine Institute. Youth ministry was not an obvious choice for me, as a teenager I would go to youth ministry reluctantly and sparingly. After college, however, I was motivated to spread the Gospel and youth ministry was the easiest way to do that. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else. I’m pretty convinced God’s favorite sense of humor is irony.
