Saint Frances Cabrini dedicated her life to serving those whom society had left behind—founding schools, orphanages, and hospitals so the poorest families could access the same formation and opportunity as everyone else. The endowment bearing her name at the Catholic Foundation of Arlington carries forward this mission, ensuring no child in the Diocese is turned away from a Catholic education because of financial need.
Administered by the Office of Catholic Schools, this perpetual endowment provides need-based scholarships for students attending Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Arlington. Because the endowment is perpetual, principal is preserved and invested in perpetuity, with annual distributions funding renewable scholarships year after year—giving families the stability to plan, and students the continuity to flourish.
A gift to the Saint Frances Cabrini Endowment is a gift with permanent reach. It opens the doors of our Catholic schools to children whose families long to provide them a Christ-centered education but cannot do so without support. It strengthens every classroom these students enter with their perspectives, faith, and witness. And it builds a Church more fully alive to the Lord's command to welcome all—one where a family's economic circumstances never determine whether their child has a place among us.
Gifts of any amount are welcome and may be made outright, through a bequest, or via other planned giving vehicles.
