Resources for Pastors and Parish Staffs
The Office of Divine Worship
works closely with Pastors and Parish Staffs to prepare for liturgical
celebrations, especially liturgies at which the Bishop of Arlington presides.
For general inquiries and to obtain the requisite forms and guidelines for
liturgies with the Bishop, please contact the Office of Divine Worship well in
advance of the liturgy. Preparatory documents should be submitted to the Office
of Divine Worship at least one to two months prior to the celebration. For
information, forms, and guidelines for major annual liturgical celebrations,
please see the resources given below.
The Office of Divine Worship also
offers pastoral and liturgical formation for the clergy and laity of the
Diocese of Arlington. The Office of Divine Worship hosts annual workshops for
liturgical ministers, offers workshops and talks on liturgical topics, and
works closely with the Office of Catechetics to promote evangelization and
ongoing faith formation. For information about major formation opportunities
offered by the Office of Divine Worship, as well as selected opportunities from
the Office of Catechetics, please see the resources given below.
