The Diocese of Arlington is offering full day, in-person conferences on the following dates:
June 27, 2026 at Good Shepherd, Alexandria – Registration full
July 18, 2026 at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, Arlington, Second Union breakout session available– Registration full
August 22, 2026 at St. Thomas á Becket, Reston – Registration Open
September 12, 2026 at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, Arlington – Coming Soon
Please note: We will post more Conference for the Engaged events soon. We will also reach out to registrants via email if there are any changes to the Conferences for the Engaged due to inclement weather.
Registrations can be transferred to another conference if you are not able to attend the conference you initially chose. There are no refunds except in the case of extenuating circumstances which require approval from our Executive Director.
The Conference for the Engaged program is designed to stimulate reflection and discussion on key aspects of marriage, and family life. The conference is held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (registration and breakfast opens at 8:15 am).
The cost for couples living within the Diocese of Arlington is $100.00.
The cost of couples living outside the boundaries of the Diocese of Arlington is $125.00.
For conferences after July 1, 2026, registration costs for in-diocese will be $150 and out of diocese will be $175.

- Finding Our Financial Future
- Introduction to NFP
Presentations are offered by married couples, priests/deacons, financial professionals and licensed counselors.
A certificate of completion is given to the couple at the end of each conference.

If you cannot make any of the above listed dates, more will be posted soon, however there may be some online options that can work for you. Please contact the Office of Marriage, Family and Respect Life at 703-841-2550 for the possibility of an online conference or to be put on a waitlist.
*If you and/or your suppose are entering marriage for the second time (divorced and annulled/widowed), the conference that offers the second union breakout session is more meaningful for you.*
