Office of Development
The Office of Development assists parishes and the Diocese with programs that encourage financial giving and stewardship to meet operational and capital needs for the Diocese, parishes, schools, and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington. These programs include Bishop's Lenten Appeal, Scholarship Foundation, The Foundation, and Planned Giving.
Through God's grace and with the generous gifts of so many, we are able to further our missionary mandate of the Gospel to make Christ known to all we encounter and address the pastoral and spiritual needs of God's people in the Diocese of Arlington.
Our pledge is that we will:
- Acknowledge all gifts and support
- Use all gifts for the purposes for which they were given
- Provide accurate information on the use of financial support
- Welcome all questions from donors and answer in a prompt and truthful manner
- Keep all donor information confidential
- Provide every donor the opportunity to have their names deleted from mailing lists
- Be open and transparent in reporting gifts and impact
- Make financial reports available to donors and the public
- Remain vigilant and informed on the identity and backgrounds of all those who serve on governing boards and hold those in decision-making positions to the highest standard
