Your great day has passed... two have become one... and a new family -- yours -- is called to live "The Gospel of Life."
Retreat to the feet of Jesus Christ and gather with a good group of other newly married husbands and wives to prepare for the adventure before you!
We will consider how to pray like Mary and Joseph, how to live as a "domestic Church," and how to form your family after the "image and likeness" of the only perfect family that ever lived.
Like the Holy Family you will face opposition and many challenges from the world, the flesh, and devil as you seek Christ and strive to grow in grace, peace, and joy. The best time to start laying a foundation and establishing a "culture" for your family is before the little ones start arriving.
Join us at the Diocese of Arlington's San Damiano Retreat Center in White Post, Virginia from Friday evening, September 16th, to Sunday noon, September 18th.
Soren and Ever Johnson, founders of the Trinity House Community will also be joining us to share their wisdom and experience in this great endeavor.
The weekend will include time for: exploring the beautiful outdoor spaces at the center, prayer, Adoration, and spiritual conferences with Father.
The usual cost for a couples retreat is $470, but as a wedding present for the two who have become one, the cost has been reduced to that of one person: $285. Financial assistance may be available.
