Beverly Carroll

Holy Family, Dale City
Co-Chair of Black Catholic Ministry

 

Beverly is the Vice Chair of the Arlington Diocese Black Catholic Ministries and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City, VA. As a member of Holy Family, she chairs the Black History Heritage Outreach Ministry, participates in Bereavement and Social Justice Ministry, and volunteers with the food pantry and Family Fun Festival events. 

She was born and raised in West Virginia, and attended a Junior College obtaining an Associate's Degree. She continued her education at University of Maryland University College receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree while working full-time for Department of Agriculture's Public Affairs Office until retiring with 40 years of federal service. For 20 of those years, she was the logistics and program manager for the team in charge of providing the Capitol Christmas Tree from various States to the lawn of the Capitol. 

She is married, celebrating 42 years of marriage this year and the mother of three children, two sons and one daughter.  She am a Golden Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and the current President of the Dale City Lions Club where the motto is: “We Serve.”  She enjoys helping others and sharing her love for God.
