Sundays with the Sisters

Witness the joy of our religious sisters

The call to holiness knows no limits. Women from various ages, ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds have come to know God's love and accept his will to love him in return. We are blessed to have nearly a dozen orders of religious women represented in our diocese. 

The Sundays with the Sisters Rejoice Tour 2023 is a chance to witness the joy of these religious sisters. An initiative for the year of preparation for our diocesan jubilee in 2024, the tour will showcase the religious women of our diocese who, like Mary, rejoice in the Lord by their daily surrender.

The tour features events at a different convent each month, bringing together sisters and lay women for prayer and community. 

Open to single women ages 18 - 50, come experience the joy of these religious sisters and learn more about their life and work. All events are from 2 - 5 p.m. No registration is needed, simply RSVP to vocations@arlingtondiocese.org the Monday prior to the gathering(s) you wish to attend.
