FIAT Summer Camp

The FIAT Camp lottery is now closed.  Registration links will be sent out by April 13 for those who receive a space in the camp. Registration and payment are due May 8. To be added to the wait list please send an email with the camper's name, birthdate and current grade in school to vocations@arlingtondiocese.org.

FIAT Summer Camp is designed for high school girls who are ready for the next step in their spiritual lives. It's five days and four nights with religious sisters and other young women committed to the path of holiness (but also not afraid of some good, clean fun!).

It's five days and four nights at Mount St. Mary's Seminary with religious sisters and lay women staff. Mornings focus on the spiritual, including Mass and talks, and afternoons are all about sports, crafts and games; evening events are a mix. One day there's a pilgrimage to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.

This year's theme centers on the JOY witnessed by Mary's Magnificat: “My soul rejoices in the Lord!” As Catholic young women in today's world, where can we find this joy, and how do we live it?

Dates: July 16-20, 2023. Camp opens at 11:00 a.m. Sunday (note change from the past); pick-up is 1:00 p.m. Thursday. There is 12:00 noon Mass with Bishop Burbidge and a picnic lunch for families on opening Sunday.

FIAT Camp is for girls currently in high school (grades 9-12 for the 2022-23 academic year).

Cost is $280 per camper, which include private room and all meals for the 4.5 days. Financial aid and payment plans are available* (see below for more payment information).

Camp is held at Mount St. Mary's University and Seminary. All campers will have their own room and share a hall bath. Meals are in the university cafeteria.

PAYMENT PLAN:  Camp can be paid for in three installments ($95, $95 and $90), by check or cash. For those issued a slot in the original lottery (April 13), the first payment will be due by May 8. Second is due May 30. Third is due June 20.

Those receiving slots after April 13 will have the schedule adjusted accordingly, but the last payment must be received by June 30.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) to the Office of Vocations, vocations@arlingtondiocese.org. 
Cancellations received before June 1 receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received after June 1 will not receive a refund. 

*Requesting Financial aid or Payment Plan in no way hinders a participant's order in the lottery.
