Camp Registration Lotteries Open March 6-31

Quo Vadis and FIAT Camps are for Catholic high school students (rising 9-12 graders) seeking to deepen their faith, learn more about all vocations and better discern God’s call in their lives. Both are held at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD.

Quo Vadis Camp (boys): Sunday July 7 – Thursday July 11

FIAT Camp (girls): Sunday July 14 - Thursday July 18

Cost is $220 per camper and includes private room, meals, materials, and staffing for the camp. Payment plans and financial aid are available.

Registration for these camps is done by lottery, and there are 110 spots available for each camp. To be added to the FIAT or Quo Vadis email list send an email to

The lottery is open from 9:30 a.m. March 6 through midnight March 31, and names will be drawn during the first full week of April. Those receiving a spot will receive an email by Friday April 12 letting them know if they have a spot in the 2019 camp.

This April 12 email will include a link to the registration form.  In order to secure your spot, you must register and submit all forms and payment by May 6, 2019, or your spot will be released for someone on the waiting list.

Those who do not secure a spot in the original lottery will be placed on a waiting list, the order of which will also be determined by lottery.  As soon as any spots are released we will let you know in the order of the waiting list.

We are thrilled these camps have received such a great response; at the same time, we regret that we don’t have the time or the space to accommodate more campers.

While these camps are an opportunity for young people to grow closer to God and discern their vocations, they are not the only means. If your son or daughter is exploring his or her vocation, please contact Fr. Isenberg in the Office of Vocations and he would be happy to help in any way he can.

The fee for the camps is $220 per camper, and includes private room as well as all meals, activities, and staffing for the camp. Payment plans are available (see below). Financial aid is available with permission of Fr. Isenberg.  Requesting financial aid or Payment Plan in no way hinders a participant’s order in the lottery.

The actual cost of the camps is $500 per camper, which is subsidized by generous benefactors of the diocese.  If you are able to pay more it is appreciated (and the additional payment is considered tax deductible); there will be more information about this when you receive registration information.

Payment Plan Option:

Camp can be paid for in three installments ($75, $75, and $70). For those issued a slot in the original lottery (April 12), the first payment will be due by May 6. Second is due June 1. Third is due June 21.

Those receiving slots after April 12 will have the schedule adjusted accordingly, but the last payment must be received by June 30.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellations received before June 1st receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received after June 15th do not receive a refund.
Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) to the Office of Vocations,
